Given, P=Q ; l1=50 cm (initial balancing length)P=120100P

At the balancing condition,

PQ=l2100l2120100=l2100l2

120012l2=10l2

1200=22l2

l2=120022=54.54 cm

Change in percentage of the balancing length is,

(l2l11)×100%=(54.54501)100%

=(1.091)100%
