The correct option is B $2 Ω$
resistance of each bulb,

$= \frac{V}{I} = \frac{1.5}{3} = 0.5 Ω$

If $R Ω$ is the required series resistance,

$\Rightarrow 3 = \frac{6}{R + 0.5 + 0.5} = \frac{6}{R + 1}$

$\Rightarrow R + 1 = \frac{6}{3} = 2$

$∴ R = (2 - 1) = 1 Ω$
