The correct option is A α=55.95,β=45.58
Net force is vertical,
So, 400sinβ+500sinα=700

4sinβ+5sinα=7

Net force is horizontal direction, is zero
400cosβ=500cosα

cosβ=1.25cosα

sinβ=1(1.25cosα)2

By equation (i) and (ii)

4sinβ=75sinα

411.5625cos2α=(75sinα)2

Squaring on both side.

16(11.5625cos2α)=(75sinα)2

1625cos2α=49+25sin2α70sinα

49+2516=70sinα

sinα=5870=0.82857

α=55.95226

cosβ=(1.25)cosα

=1.25cos(55.95226)

β=45.5847
