Solution

The correct option is A 20
Initially, Natasha and Emma have $10 and $30, respectively.

They decided to equally distribute the whole amount among themselves such that they can have an equal opportunity to spend in the amusement park.

One of the solutions for this problem is to calculate the mean/average amount, which each of them can have for equal sharing.

We know,
Mean/Average=Sum of all data pointsTotal number of data points

Here,
sum of all data points= total amount they have= $10+$30=$40, and
total number of data points= 2

Average amount each of them can have= $402=$20

Hence, after equal distribution, both Natasha and Emma will have $20.
