In elastic collision If mass of both bodies are same then velocity interchange.

$\to I^{st}$ partical moves with $2m/s$ in $n$ direction

$\to I{I}^{nd}$ partical moves with $4m/s$ in $-n$ direction

After collision

$\to I^{st}$ partical moves $\to 4m/s$ in $(-ve)$

$\to I{I}^{nd}$ partical moves $\to 2m/s$ in $(+ve)$
