The correct option is C VCe,VC
For the circuit (i), diode has higher voltage at p-side, so it is forward-biased and acts as short.
Thus capacitor discharge through capacitor.
q=q0et/RC=CVet/RC
at t=RC,q=CVeCR/CR=CV/e

For the circuit (ii), diode has higher voltage on the n-side, so it is reversed-biased and acts as open circuit.
So the capacitor is isolated and its charge stays the same.
So q=CV
Option C is correct.
