The correct option is C Current in each loop decreases

Consider loop 1 moving towards loop 2.

The magnetic field and therefore, flux through loop 1 will go on increasing so that loop 1 will have induced emf and current in it.

The induced current will try to reduce the flux through it.

So, the induced current will be in counter-clockwise direction which result in decrease in the magnitude of current flowing through loop 1.

Similarly, as loop 2 is moved towards loop 1, the magnitude of current flowing through loop 2 will decrease due to the similar reason.

Hence, option (C) is the correct answer.
