Question

Two identical looking iron bars, A and B are given, one of which is definitely known to be magnetised. How would one ascertain, whether or not both are magnetised? If only one is magnetised, how does one ascertain which one?

It has 2 answers
#--> if you bring the iron piece (suppose ) vertically over the horizontal bar of magnet then first it will stick to the poles (attraction is high) if you will bring it at center (attraction will be low) then it could be well understand than the it will be iron nothing else.
#--> break the both given substance
Case1
If by breaking there causes any repulsion
Then it would be magnet nothing else
If you will break iron piece neither attraction nor repulsion will take place
