Question

Two identical loops , one of copper and the other of aluminium, are rotated with the same angular speed in the same magnetic field. Compare
(i) The induced emf
(ii) the current produced in the two coils justify your answer.

Solution (i) There will be no difference in
the induced emf because induced
emf is dependent only upon the
magnetic field and angular vel but
not on the property of metal in loops
(ii) The induced current will be
higher in copper loop since the
resistance of Aluminium is greater
then of copper and the induced emf
is same in both.
