$T_{1}$ was decreased

$∴$ $v_{1} > v_{2}$

or $f_{1} > f_{2}$ and $f_{1} - f_{2}$ = 6 Hz.

Now, if $T_{1}$ is increased, $f_{1}$ will increase or $f_{1} - f_{2}$ will increase. Therefore, (D) option is wrong.

If $T_{1}$ is decreased, $f_{1}$ will decrease and it may be possible that now $f_{2} - f_{1}$ become 6 Hz. Therefore, (C) option is correct.
