The correct option is B 2ml

Let M is the magnetic moment of each bar magnet, as M=ml.

The resultant magnetic moment,

Mres=(M1)2+(M2)2+2M1M2cosθ

Since, the angle between the magnetic moments is 90 as shown in figure.

Mres=(M1)2+(M2)2 [ M1=M2=M]

Mres=2M=2ml

Hence, (B) is the correct answer.
