Solution

The correct option is B (3×105 T)^j+(4×105 T)^k
B due to I1
Magnetic field due to I1 at P will be

B1=μ0i12π(r)^k=μ0i12π(AP)^k=2×107×2102 ^k

(direction according to Maxwell’s right- hand thumb rule)
B1 =4×105^k

B due to I2

Magnetic field due to I2 at P will be

B2=μ0i22π(r)^j=μ0i22π(PB)^j=2×107×32×102^j

(direction according to Maxwell’s right- hand thumb rule)
B2=3×105^j

net magnetic field at P
Bnet=B1+B2

=(3×105^j+4×105^k)

Hence, option (B) is correct.
