Solution: Here we are going to apply right hand thumb rule,
which conclude that magnetic field vanishes
in region I and III.
Now, Let the magnetic field at point P(x,y) is zero.
So, magnetic field due to current I1 is:
B1=μ0I12πx (directly outward)
==>B1=μ0i2πx (directly outward)
and, magnetic field due to current I2 is:
B2=μ0I22πy (directly inward)
==>B2=μ0i2πy (directly inward)
As field is vanishes,
So, B1=B2
==>μ0i2πx=μ0i2πy
==>x=y
