The correct option is D 5600 cu. cm
As 56 matchboxes are used to make the cuboid, the total volume will be equal to the sum of volume of 56 matchboxes, in what ever fashion they are arranged.

Volume of one match box = 100 cu. cm
Volume of cuboid formed = 56 x 100
= 5600 cu. cm
