Let liquid - 1 has specific heat s1 at temp.40C

Liquid - 2 has specific heat s2 at temp. 30C

common temp. is 36C and both have equal mass (suppose m)

heat lost by liquid-1 is

Q1=ms1Δt=ms1(4036)=4ms1

heat gained by liquid - 2 is Q2=ms2Δt

Q2=ms2×(3630)=6ms2

both should be same according to the conservation of energy

Q1=Q2

or 4ms1=6ms2

S1S2=64=32

S1S2=3:2
