Let P1, P2 and P3 be the pressure at pointsM, N and O respectively.

Pressure is given by P=ρgh

Now, P1=0( h=0)

P2=ρg(5)

P3=ρg(5)+2ρg(5)=15 ρg

Force on upper part, F1=(P1+P2)2A

Force on lower part, F2=(P2+P3)2A

F1F2=5ρg20ρg=520=14
