Two masses m1 and m2 collide with each other. Before the collision, the velocities were u1 and u2 respectively. After the collision the velocities are v1 and v2. What is the final momentum after collision?
M1 x u1 + M2 x u2
The total momentum is always conserved i.e., initial momentum is equal to the final momentum.
Since, Momentum = Mass x Velocity
Initial momentum = m1×u1+m2×u2= Final momentum.
