The correct option is A 0.2m/s2
As there is no friction only gravitational forces are there.
hence gravitational force acting on m1 is and on m2 is F2=m2g
Now considering pulley as the isolated system and observing the forces acting on it are
F1=m1g and
F2=m2g
hence the resultant force F
F=(m1+m2)a=F1F2 as both m1 and m2 are both part of the system
(m1+m2)a=m1gm2g

a=m1m2m1+m2g=54.85+4.8×9.8=0.2 m/s2
