If the two bodies in contact have same temperature then there is no heat transfer between them.

Conduction is the transfer of heat between substances that are in direct contact with each other. It occurs when a substance is heated, the particles gain energy and vibrate. This then continues and the energy is passed from the hot end down to the colder end of the substance.
