The correct option is A Parallel
R1=6Ω , R2=3Ω
Case (1): In Series connection :
Req=R1 + R2
Req=6 + 3
Req=9Ω
So series connection not possible.

Case (2): In Parallel connection :
1Req=1R1+1R2
1Req=16+13
Req = 6×36+3= 189=2Ω
Hence the two resistors are connected in parallel.
