Two mirrors meet at right angles. A ray of light is incident on one at an angle of 30° as shown in Fig. Draw the reflected ray from the second mirror.

At Mirror OA, Angle of incidence = angle of reflection = 30° CAB=30° => CAB+CBA+ACB=180° (Angle sum property of a triangle)=> 30° +90° +ABC=180° => ABC=60° At mirror OB, Angle of incidence = angle of reflection = 60° Note that, AC OB Hence, the first incident ray and last reflected ray in this case are parallel.
