Solution

The correct option is B 1.46
Given,
No. of moles of helium [He],(n1)=2
No. of moles of hydrogen [H2],(n2)=4
Since, hydrogen is diatomic and helium is monoatomic
(CV)H2=5R2;(CV)He=3R2
(CP)H2=7R2;(CP)He=5R2
We know,
γmixture=n1CP1+n2CP2n1CV1+n2CV2
=2(5R2)+4(7R2)2(3R2)+4(5R2)=1913=1.46
