Net electric field at point P is E

E=E1+E2

Field due to the horizontal and vertical wire is E1 and E2 respectively,

E1=λ12πε0y (in + y direction)

E2=λ22πε0x ( in x direction)

Let α be angle of electric field with x-axis.

tanα=E1E2=λ12πε0yλ22πε0x

Given, y=mx=13x

tanα=m=13

13=λ1xλ2yλ1λ2=y3x

λ2λ1=3
