Hence, $\frac{x}{y}=\frac{3}{5}\Rightarrow x=\frac{3y}{5}x+y=144\Rightarrow \frac{3y}{5}+y=144\Rightarrow \frac{8y}{5}=144\Rightarrow y=\frac{144\times 5}{8}=90$

$x+90=144\Rightarrow x=54$
