The correct option is B 120
Given,
Ratio of numbers $= 4 : 5$
Sum of numberes $= 270$

Let, the common factor of two numbers be $x .$

The numbers will be $4 x & 5 x .$

So, $4 x + 5 x = 270 9 x = 270 x = \frac{270}{9} = 30$

$∴$ Smaller Number $= 4 x = 4 \times 30 = 120$
