Let the masses of the two objects be m1 and m2, u1,u2 be their initial velocities respectively. Let h be the height from where the objects are dropped. Let v1,v2 be the their final velocities and t1,t2 be the time taken to strike the ground respectively.

t1=t2=t=2hg ..........(3)
now v1=gt1v2=gt2
From equation (3),v1=v2=gt
