Two objects of masses 2m and 3m respectively move with velocities 2v and v. find the ratio of their momenta.

Momentum(P) is the product of mass and velocity.
In first case,
mass =2m
velocity =2v
momentum (Pa) =2m2v=4mv.
In second case,
mass =3m
velocity =v
momentum (Pb) = 3mv = 3mv.
there for the ratio of momentum
Pa / Pb = 4mv / 3mv = 4/3
Ratio of their momentum
= 4/3
