(b) the distance x.

For collision there x and y co-ordinate should be same.

y=vAsinθt12gt2=vBt12gt2 at t=12

vAsinθ=vB

sinθ=vBvA=1020=12

θ=30o

xA=xB

x=vAcosθt=20×32×12

x=53s
