The maximum velocity of the particle executing SHM is given by, Vmax=Aω …..(1)

In equation (1) A is the amplitude and ω=km

Step-2: Calculation:

Let us take the amplitude of particles A and B be A1 and A2 respectively.

Since maximum velocities are equal, we can write

A1ω1=A2ω2 ω=km

A1×k1m1=A2×k2m2

m1=m2A1A2=k2k1

Ratio of the amplitude of A and B = k2k1

Hence, Option (C) is correct.
