We know that the total linear momentum of a system of partilas is equal to linar momentumm of center of man of the system.
(m1+m2)ϑcm=m1ϑ1+m2ϑ2
At t= 5 sec,
ϑ1=0m/s
ϑ2=u2+at
ϑ2=2×5=10m/s(u2=0 and a=Fm2=2m/s2)
5×ϑcm=0+3×10
ϑcm=6m/s
