The correct option is B $\frac{10}{3}$ m/s
As we know that center of mass = $\frac{m_{1} \times v_{1} + m_{2} \times v_{2}}{m_{1} + m_{2}}$

so C.O.M= $\frac{1 \times 2 + 0.5 \times 6}{1 + 0.5}$ = $\frac{10}{3}$ m/sec
