Question

Two particles of mass MA and MB and there velocities are VA and VB respectively collides. After collision they inter changes their velocities then ratio of MAMB is?

Open in App
Solution

Before collision momentum =ρ1=MAVA+MBVB
after collision momentum u ρ2=MAVB+MBVA
momentum is conserve ρ1=ρ2
MAVA+MBVB=MBVA+MAVB
divide both side by MB
MAMBVA+VB=VA+MAMBVBMAMB(VAVB)=(VAVB)
clear that MAMB=1
