Two people invested Rs 15000 and 25000 respectively to start a business. They decided to share the profits in the ratio of their investments. If their profit is Rs 12000. How much they each get?

A's share : B's share
=(25000 ) : (15000 )

= 25 : 15 = 5 : 3

Let A's share = 5x
B's share = 3x


According to the question,

5x +3x = 12000

8x = 12000

X= 12000 / 8 = 1500

There fore ,
A's share = 5 × 1500 = 7500

B's share = 3 × 1500 = 4500
