The maximum amplitude will be obtained when both waves will be in phase, which is (A1 +A2).
Similarly minimum amplitude will be the result of opposite phase,
which is (A1- A2).
Thus the difference will be (A1 +A2) - ( A1 - A2)
which is 2A2
