Two plane mirror are inclined as shown in figure an object is placed at origin. 1st reflection takes place from M1 and then from M2. Calculate the coordinates of final image.

Object distance for lower mirror is OC
OI1=2OC=2d

AI1=OI1sin45o=2d

Object distance for upper mirror is BI1
BI1=AB+AI1=3d

Image distance is hence, BI2=BI1=3d

AI2=BI2+AB=4d

Hence, coordinates of final image is (OA,I2A)=(d,4d)
