Let, the angle between the mirror M2, and the ray is α.

Step 1: Calculation of the angle between the mirror M2, and the ray

α+20=90

Here, α is the angle between the mirror M2 and the ray.

α=90-20α=70

Step 2: Calculation of the incident angle θ.

The summation of the three angles of a triangle is 180.

70+70+90-θ=180θ=230-180θ=50

Therefore, the incident angle is 50.
