Maximum load taken by plate

$=150\times 50\times 8=60kN$

Maximum load taken by the weld

$=KS{L}_{eff}{\sigma }_s$

$=0.7\times 6\times (100+50+100)\times 110=115.5kN$

$\therefore \text{Permissible load = minimum of above two}$
$=60kN$
