We know the sum of probabilities will always be equal to be 1,

P (E) + P (not E) = 1

P (not E) = 1 - P (E) = $1-\frac{3}{4}=\frac{1}{4}$

Hence, probability of Anand wnning the match = $\frac{1}{4}$
