In figure,
The electric field intensity at mid point due to charge q1
E1=14πε0.q1(0.5)2
E1=9×109×3×106(0.5)2
E1=36kN/C
The electric field intensity at mid point due to charge q2
E2=14πε0q2(0.5)2
E2=9×109×6×1106(0.5)2
E2=216kN/C
Both electric field intensity are in opposite direction,
The net electric field intensity at mid point is given by
En=E2E1
En=(21636)kN/C
En=1.8×105N/C
