Two point masses m are kept $r$ distance apart, What will be the potential at $0.25 r$ distance from any one mass towards the other mass?

So, potential at point P is
$V = V_{A} + V_{B}$

= $\frac{G m m}{0.25 r} + \frac{G m m}{0.75 r}$

= $\frac{g m m}{r} [4 + \frac{4}{3}]$

V = $\frac{16 G m^{2}}{3 r}$
