Unpolarised light I0 is incident on P1.

Step 2: Calculations.

Initial intensity = I 0

After P1→I1=I02

After P3→I2=I1cos2450

I2=I02x12

We get,

I2=I04

AfterP2→I3=I2cos2450

I3=I04x12

we get,
