Here, assuming two negative charge of 10 C each placed at the centre of the circle.


From formula, dipole moment p is
p=q(2l)

Now from figure,

|p1|=10×4=40 C-m

and |p2|=10×4=40 C-m

Angle between p1 and p2,

θ=60

So,
|pnet|=p21+p22+2p1p2cosθ

|pnet|=402+402+2×40×40×cos60

|pnet|=69.3 C-m

Hence, option (b) is the correct answer.
