Given that their half lives are 1 hour and 2 hours.
Also we know that the half life is related to disintegration constant by:
λ=kthalf
λx=k1
λy=k2
Hence, after 4 hours.
X - 4 half lives
Y - 2 half lives
If initially they have N0 molecules each.
Then after time of 4 hours.
N016 molecules of x
N04 molecules of y
Rate of disintegration is equal to λ×N
Rx=k1×N016
Ry=k2N04
Hence we see that Ry=2Rx

Hence the ratio is 1:2
