Solution

The correct option is A μA>μB
Since incident angle and emergent angle in both slabs are same and xA<xB.

So, iA<iB

From Snell's law, we can write that,

sinisiniA=μAμ ..........(1)

(where μ is the refractive index of air)

Similarly,

sinisiniB=μBμ ..........(2)

From eq (1) and (2)

μAsiniA=μBsiniB

μA>μB (iA<iB)

Hence, option (a) is the correct answer.
Why this question?
This question will check the basic understanding of student regarding the concept of bending of light when a light ray travels from one medium to another.
