The current will distribute among 1000Ω resistor and 1000Ω voltmeter eqaully because of equal resistors.
I=2I1I1=I2 (1)
Now 1000Ω resistors are in parallel so equivalent circuit Fig(2)
Total I=VReqI=1.51000AQI1=I2=1.52000A
Reading of voltmeter=I1×1000Ω=1.52000×1000=34=0.75V
