Question

Two resistors $$A$$ and $$B$$ have resistances $$R_A$$ and $$R_B$$ respectively with $$R_A < R_S$$. The resistivities of their materials are $$\rho_A$$ and $$\rho_B$$.

C

D
The information is not sufficient to find the relation between ρA and ρB.

Solution

The correct option is C The information is not sufficient to find the relation between $$\rho_A$$ and $$\rho_B$$.
$$R = \frac {\rho l}{A}$$

from this relation we can understand that the resistance also depends on length and area of the conductor. because in question it is not given that area and length are constant or any dependence of them over resistance.

So, option D is correct
