(b) Current is divided in the inverse ratio of the resistance.

Current through $4 Ω$ resistor = $\frac{I}{R_{1} + R_{2}} \times R_{2} = \frac{0.5}{4 + 6} \times 6 = 0.3 A$

Current through $6 Ω$ resistor = $\frac{I}{R_{1} + R_{2}} \times R_{1} = \frac{0.5}{4 + 6} \times 4 = 0.2 A$
