Consider the given simplified diagram.
dxdt=vsinθv
dydt=vcosθ

y=xtanθ (always)

As θ is not changing with time we get
dydt=dxdttanθ

vcosθ=(vsinθv)tanθ
vtanθ=vsin2θcosθ+vcosθ
v=vcosθ×sinθcosθ

v=vcosecθ=10×2=20m/s
(θ=30o and cosec30o=2)
