The correct option is A Jaggery in sample A appears to be more moist than B
Substances which are able to absorb moisture from the atmosphere to become moist and ultimately dissolve in the absorbed water are called deliquescent substances. Jaggery is an example for a deliquescent substance. Thus, sample of jaggery kept exposed to air will absorb moisture.
Deliquescence is common in coastal area due to presence of moisture in atmosphere. We know that Kerala is more closer to the coastal area compared to Delhi. Thus, the sample kept in Kerala(Sample A) appears to have absorbed more moisture.
