Given that, perimeter of triangle $=36\text{cm}$ and length of the two sides are $12\text{cm}$ and $14\text{cm}$

We know that,

Perimeter of a triangle $=$ Sum of all three sides of a triangle

Sum of two sides $=14+12=26\text{cm}$

Now,

Third side $=$Perimeter $-$ Sum of two sides

$$\begin{gathered} =36-26 \\ =10\text{cm} \end{gathered}$$

Therefore, the third side of the triangle is $10\text{cm}$
